First, but not the last..

So, this gona be my 1st ever post to this blog..


Well, this site is dedicated to publishing my writings as and when I am able to pen my thoughts and opinions. I will use both Malaysian and English language in this blog. But for this time, I would prefer it to be in English.

While I'm writing this, I actually haven't finished all my exams. But, alhamdulillah, last Friday (23rd of January 2009), I've done my Microbiology final successfully. Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah.. I admit that Microbiology is one of the toughest examination I had ever experienced so far. seriously. Plus, the day before the exam, I was quite busy because Dr MAZA (Dr. Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin) and also Ustaz Maszlee Malik came to my place from UK to give some talk. It was really a good talk, but I'm not planning to talk bout it right now. Probably next time. Anyway, I did not study much the day before.. But, alhamdulillah, I still managed to do my exam very well. All praises are only for Allah.. My next examination will be Physical Examination in Internal Medicine, which I will take either this Friday or Monday. Do pray for my success..

Last night I had a circle.. There were lots of new knowledge that I learned. However, I just would like to share a verse from the quran that we talked about yesterday (the translation):

"Say, (O Muhammad), 'If your should love Allah, then, folllow me (so) Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful' " (Ali-Imran:31)

The Prophet (puh) also said in one hadith:

"The iman of a man is not complete until he loves me more than his children, his parents and all other humans" (Bukhari, Muslim, an-Nasa'i)

I was touched when I recall the love of the companion to the Prophet. They really love Muhammad (puh) more than any other things. They put their love to the Prophet more than everything else.

Their love are not just expressed in their lips. One companion, Zaid bin Datsima had no fear to the threats of the Musyrikin. He was willing to protect the Prophet even if it means he will be killed. There was one time in Makkah, where Abu Sufyan told him, "Today, Muhammad will not be here, until we manage to cut his head." However Zaid bin Datsima sternly said "By the name of Allah, I won't expect Muhammad to be here, where even a thorn would hurt him - if that means I would return to my family" Abu Sufyan replies, "I've never seen a man love another person, like Muhammad's companion love him. Subhanallah..

There are many other stories in the history to show that the companions really love the Prophet, and I'm not able to quote all of them here. Anyway, the companions were willing to do anything for the Prophet, even if it costs their lives. How could they do that? And how couldn't us? The Prophet love the ummah very much, that he misses to meet them. He always prayed for the ummah. He worried very much when he thought about the ummah. The love of Muhammad for the ummah cannot be measured with what we can see or hear, but He is the light that can guarantee the happiness for us in this world and hereafter.. But have we ever asked ourselves what do we do for the Prophet? What do we do to protect him, his name.. And what do we do to protect Islam? Let's think it ourselves.

Well, maybe that should be enough for my first post. Just wana share what I did for the past few days. In the next few days, I'm going to have my final examination for this semester - Physical Examination in Internal Medicine. So, I need to study. Do pray for my excellence. Amiin..

So, that's all for my first entry. There is a Malay saying which says, "Yang pertama tak semestinya yang terbaik, tapi yang terbaik biasanya yang pertama" ;p

This is the first, but insyaAllah, it won't be the last..
