Ada Orang, Ada Orang...

Salam w.b.t.

Dalam kesibukan study ini, saya suka untuk berkongsi satu puisi yang mana bagi saya sangat menyentuh perasaan saya. Ini merupakan entry pertama di dalam blog ini dalam kategori 'copy and paste'. ;p Syukran atas keizinan pemilik blog. Moga kita sama-sama beroleh manfaat.

Ada orang..

dulu hidup penuh jahiliyyah, bila tersedar terus ligat sana sini ingin berdakwah.

bukan apa, bukti syukur dan sayang ummat.

Ada orang..

sayang dakwah tapi masih cintakan jahiliyyah

bukan apa, kene tadarruj

tapi mujur amal dakwi masih meneguhkan dia disini.

Ada orang..

sedap memberi ceramah

liqa’nya menarik dan menolak

bukan apa, banyak ilmu ditimba dan luas pengalaman di medan

tapi sayang, ghurur dan ujub menguasai diri,

takut-takut nanti tergelincir di tengah jalan.

Ada orang..

di mana dauroh di situ mukanya

di mana mukhayyam di situl dia

di mana mabit disitu tidurnya

kemana sahaja pasti ada dia

tidak perlukan dia pun masih ada dia

bukan apa, sayang sangat pada tarbiyyah

tapi sayang di medan longlai dan lesu

ke sana kemari hanya kerana suka

juga kerana semangat berpersatuan.

Ada orang..

dulu ligat

kereta hijau di belasah sekuat mungkin

bilik-bilik kosong digegarkan dengan liqo’

surau-surau menjadi saksi pertemuan kasih

tapi sayang

segalanya hanya sejarah

tapi mengapa?

Ada orang..

Ada orang..

Ada orang..

Jangan lupa kita juga orang..

Jangan lupa hidayah bukan milik orang..

Tentunya Allahlah yang memilih orang..

Adakah kita layak?

Untuk dipilih dan terus dipilih.

Satu langkah ke arah mungkar, akan ditambah beberapa langkah lagi.

Bila berpaling ke belakang sudah jauh berjalan rupanya.

Tapi tika dan saat itu, takut sudah letih berjalan untuk berpatah balik.

Jadi AWASI syaiton sekeliling!

Gigit kuat-kuat hidayah ini..

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ الَّذِي آتَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا فَانسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ

Dan bacakanlah kepada mereka (wahai Muhammad), khabar berita seorang yang kami beri kepadanya (pengetahuan mengenai) ayat-ayat (Kitab) Kami, kemudian dia menjadikan dirinya terkeluar dari mematuhinya, lalu dia diikuti oleh Syaitan (dengan godaannya), maka menjadilah dari orang-orang yang sesat.

Siapa rugi?

إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Jika kamu tidak pergi beramai-ramai (untuk berperang pada jalan Allah membela agamaNya), Allah akan menyeksa kamu dengan azab seksa yang tidak terperi sakitnya dan Dia akan menggantikan kamu dengan kaum yang lain dan kamu tidak akan dapat mendatangkan bahaya sedikitpun kepadaNya dan (ingatlah) Allah Maha Kuasa atas tiap-tiap sesuatu.

Exam Week..

It's May.. Yeah.. It's May already.. It's actually middle of May. That's how fast time goes.

What's special about this month? Before I forget, I would like to wish Happy Mother's Day to my beloved mom. Well, insyaAllah, I'll be having my final exams for this summer semester starting from this month. InsyaAllah, I'll take my Pathophysiology exam at the end of this month, which is only in 2 weeks time. In between, there are some other credit tests.. as usual. So, everyone, do pray for my success. I miss my home and my family already.

As usual, I've been very busy nowadays. Last weekend I went to Prague to gain some Islamic knowledge, and alhamdulillah, I've learned a lot from the program. Thanks to those who involved in the program.

I'm not planning to write too long in this entry since I'm quite tired today, and I'm in the middle of studying Pharmacology.. just having a break for a while. Anyway, I would like to share a verse from the quran, which maybe relates to me, and probably to you as well:

"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their life and their properties (in exchange) for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah... (at-Taubah:111)

Well, the verse seems to be 'unlogic' if we compare with our situation. This is because, everything that we have in this world comes from Allah, but in this verse, Allah says that He has purchased the things that he gave to us for Paradise, if we fight for Allah. If we compare in our situation, nobody's going to buy back whatever he or she gives to someone. But, that's what Allah has promised us if we work for Him.to

However, the question is how much are we willing to work for Islam. I'm saying this to me, myself as well. Let's think about it. There are many points to talk about, but I'm not planning to say them all, since I have lots of work to do, and I'm getting sleepy already. May this verse motivate us to purify our intention in doing something.

Sometimes while we are busy chasing success in this world, we forget the more important thing in our life. Well, we often hear people saying that we need to balance between life in this world and the life Hereafter. But, how much do we practise it? Me, myself, I also realise that I have not reached that level yet. Just look at how much do we spend our time to study compared to read the quran. How much time do we spend to remember God.

Nothing in this world stays forever.. so does human being..

Time passes.. It never waits for us. If we are not willing to spend our time doing good things, other people are going to get it. It is up to us to dedicate our time. We are not going to live forever. So, let's make full use of the time that we have.

Maybe that's enough for this short entry. May all of us get benefit. To everyone, do pray for my success in my exams, and in my life as well.

Red Alert: Swine Flu!!

We all know that the world is now facing a swine flu outbreak. I was quite surprised as I woke up yesterday when I read the news that there might be swine flu case in Czech Republic, where I'm studying now. So, here's the news from the internet regarding this issue.

Prague - Three Czechs who all returned from Mexico are now hospitalised on suspicion of swine flu, two in Prague and one in Ostrava, north Moravia, chief sanitary officer Michael Vit told journalists today.

He said the first case of swine flu might appear in the country within a week.

Thermal cameras will be placed at the Prague international airport to detect possible swine flu as a plane will bring some 180 Czech tourists back from Mexico on Sunday.

Vit said doctors will check the tourists from Mexico in mobile tents at the airport.

If doctors reveal any symptoms of the flu, the passenger will be sent to the Prague-Bulovka teaching hospital.

Prague airport spokeswoman Marika Janouskova told CTK that the passengers of all flights that the chief sanitary officer considers risky will be checked by thermal cameras and doctors.

Apart from the three people who are hospitalised over suspicion of swine flu, further 16 people who returned from Mexico have minor problems with their air passages, Vit said. These people were tested and ordered to remain at home and keep isolated from others.

Child and adults general practitioners will receive instructions on swine flu symptoms, its treatment and testing, Vit said.

He said infectious diseases clinics have already received them.

The instructions will also be available on the Health Ministry website.

The lethal A/H1N1 virus has already claimed over 150 lives in Mexico. The disease has spread to the U.S. territory as well as other countries.

The first cases of the disease in the EU have been reported in Spain and Britain. Today, Germany announced the first three cases and Austria confirmed one.

The Czech Republic as the EU-presiding country has convoked a meeting of the EU health ministers for Thursday to deal with the situation.

However it was later found out that the result was negative. Nevertheless, especially to my friends who are studying in Europe, it's advisable for us to keep distance from crowded places and also to keep our hygiene, as this subtype of Influenza A virus is highly contagious. Allah knows better. Everything happens for good reasons :-)
